They won't run, can't turn on heater in weather that is the coldest in the country.
False. They work just fine in temperatures as low as -40 Fahrenheit, they just have reduced range.

Also... the propaganda site makes it sound like only 60 buses were delivered nationally, but in fact the investigation was only about Montgomery county, Maryland.
I wonder if they misunderstood, or were they blatantly lying?

The propaganda, as usual, is misleading. This is the original source of their information...
You can see for yourself that the deadline to file for rebates isn't up for another 3 months. But so far they've replaced about 8,500 school buses at more than 1,000 schools.
The confusion comes when the school applies for the rebate before the electric bus is delivered. In those cases, the money is held in escrow for up to a year. Propaganda sites like that can make it seem like money has been spent for nothing, but that's simply not true.

Sources say there was a mountain county had one delivered and it didn't make the climb. So a diesel tow truck took it the rest of the way.
