First of all, Gerald Ford never received one vote in a national election prior to becoming president. Not one, which wasn't his doing, but there is that precedent.
Also, prior to the 1970s, it was very common for parties to choose candidates who had not run through the primary process. There weren't any primaries prior to the 1916, and even from then until 1972, party bosses, of all parties, chose the eventual candidate that suited their interests/platform best.
So, no, the Kamala selection is not a "first". Trumpers aren't exactly good at history, along with their myriad of other failings.

Delicate female lightly mush brained voters saw a very steady , calm , very self confident candidate they could see as potus in four yrs.

No one is upset. The next VP debate that swings an election will be the first.
Now, your boy Donny is very upset with his actions during his "lame duck" status after the 2020 election coming to light. Tring to subvert democracy is rather treasonous, to this observer. Maybe we should have hung him on the gallows the J6ers were building for Pence.
