The only real inflation are the deliberately inflated prices. As long as the righties continue to insist it's Biden's fault the gougers are gonna make hay while their sunshine's.

Was working on my personal finances this morning and realized inflation has been pretty good for me.
Inflation is pretty rough on poor people though.

Going off on a tangent here, but you might be comparing apples to walnuts.
Did the seller on Amazon have a physical store where they had to pay rent, utilities, insurance, and payroll?
Are you sure it was an identical part? The seller on Amazon could have been selling refurbished parts or a foreign made knockoff.
From what I can tell, markup on lawnmower parts ranges from 10-25%. An 800% markup would be WAY beyond MSRP...
I figured this out years ago when I stopped shopping at Walmart... there's always a reason why it's cheaper, but it's not always because one store is trying to rip you off.
