I take up for facts, and racism is rarely... if ever... based on facts.
Walmart did try to blame their failures on shoplifting... which had nothing to do with race, by the way... but then they admitted that they were lying about it. The stores that they were closing had actually had fewer cases of shoplifting, not more. And their overall shrink had dropped from 3.5% of sales to 2.5%, but they didn't say how much of that shrink was due to actual theft.
Skeptics have argued that they are trying to deny that they're losing business to online sales, so they're falsely making these statements in an attempt to save their stock value...

Shoplifters in black areas can take what they want and nobody will stop them.
So walgreens stock has crashed and they will close stores to stop the shopliters from being black
