How do 111,000 jobs just vanish?

So the sky is not falling, these were "estimated" future jobs that didn't happen. Maybe make up 3 more attempts to blame / criticize the current administration.

The Labor Department's closely watched employment report on Friday also showed the economy created 111,000 fewer jobs in April and May than previously estimated, suggesting the trend in payrolls growth was slowing.

Of course this could be a ploy to have the Federal Reserve lower interest rate before the election.

But the job market in the spring was decidedly less buoyant than believed. Payroll gains were revised down from 165,000 to 108,000 in April and from 272,000 to 218,000 in May.

Broadly, economists say, the report could bolster the case for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates as early as September.

It's not jobs that became obsolete, butler. It's jobs that never existed but the current administration claimed did. This admin has modified the jobs report downward almost every month they have been in office. What transparency!

Some jobs become obsolete like automobile welders that lost thier jobs to industrial welders in the 70's and 80's.

Today, some jobs are lost to AI. The theory is that new jobs are created to design and maintain robots and AI algorithms. But more jobs become obsolete than created.

LOL. Same **** as 2016 with the jobs reports. The low level gullibles said the jobs reports were fake up until November 2016, then amazingly immediately the jobs reports were all the best ever, before inauguration.

Just more of the low level gullibles being suckered by BS. Truly fascinating the boomer mind is.

The jobs that have been created are mostly taxpayer funded.

But, But, But, we are booming. Prices are lower, no one is crossing the border and Joe Biden is the smartest one in the room.

How about all 3 of those since the real number is much higher. Remember that the unemployment numbers are figured on the number of people who draw unemployment or other services. Once you run out of unemployment or drop off the roles you are no longer counted
