freddy, seems you've got BDS as bad as I've got TDS, the only thing is you're not man enough to admit it. Difference is my syndrome is due to deploring an evil orange mutant, and yours is fueled by rancid politics.

Anti

This all started before Trump. Obama was the most divisive president we have ever had. On top of that, the Democrats called us all racist whenever we disagreed with his anti American policies.

Joe Biden's a really rich 40 year politician of $170,000 a year. So I'll call that an opportunist 😂. Show me where his S corporation money comes from.

Looks like you Yank, have put your expertise on the line on this one. Thanks for telling us, now one of the best things about Wilkes County you seem to not have located lately is I 77 North. So if you can find your way back to OHIO, feel free to hit the road. Several more yankees have already been here. PS. Be sure and get you a bottle of SODA at Uncle Kenny's before you go

As despicable as politics is, Trump is not a politician, he's solely an opportunist. When it suited his purposes, he was a democrat and supported Roe v Wade. When that no longer suited his purposes, he became a republican and opposed Roe v Wade. His present goal is to become dictator of the USA, when that fails, he'll be looking for other opportunities.

If the Saudi's make it worth his while he'll become a Muslim.

There's a history here... we used to all be civil and talk about things, then Trump got started you had a handful of his supporters that followed his lead and turned everything into a political fight. They started with the name calling and attacks, and did their best to run off anyone that didn't agree with them.

Those of us that stayed got pulled down to their level. After so long of people calling you names, you get tired of it and insult them back.

Which, of course, is what they want.

Most of us still try to have civil conversations, but they're so obsessed that they turn anything into a fight about politics. It doesn't matter what you say... I started a thread about a low calorie chocolate cake, and I guarantee that one of the Trumpsters will reply and make it about Trump or Biden.

The obsession is tiring, but it's everywhere. I tried reading a few social media sites and other message boards, and it's all anyone can talk about.

I can't wait for it to all be over.

I promise, if you start a thread on anything that's not about Trump or Biden, I'll reply! Dear God, let's talk about how blue the sky is today or something! Anything!

I come to the forum and all I see is this person defending one politician and that person defending another. You know what strikes me as funny about that? You've all been played. There's no such thing as an honest politician, no unbiased news channel, and none of you know more about what's going on than what you're told. You formulate opinions based on incomplete or out-of-context information.

To make matters worse, almost everyone here resorts to name-calling. Respectful debates are one thing, but what point do you make by calling Trump "tRUMP"? Both sides act the same way! You trigger each other with "tRUMP," "obummer," "killary," "lock her up," and "lock him up." You've been divided on purpose. You stay glued to your respective news channels, fully believing that Fox or CNN don't pick sides, but the other channel does.

I know you guys are smarter than this. You have to see the correlation. What's the point? How many hours do you spend every day thinking about or furiously typing about politics on forums and social media? What exactly does it accomplish? Is it some kind of hobby? Can't we just go back to talking about gas prices and the weather? We all need to go outside and touch grass. Maybe go to the lake and have a picnic and put a line in the water. At the end of the day, with the exception of finances, not a whole lot is going to change no matter who is elected, and obsessing about it won't change that fact.
