Grading of a golf course is a specialized grading company that only builds golf courses. However, did they even get a bid from a local or a NC company. A lot of companies have gone out of business due to no new courses being built and the closing of courses left and right.

Old School, From the WJP article,
"Landscapes Unlimited builds sports fields and its sister company, Landscapes Golf Management, builds golf courses nationwide, the release said."
While I'm sure there's some fine heavy equipment operators in Wilkes...do you reckon they have the experience that this company has?

Just saw on the JP site that a man from Wisconsin got killed on a dozer yesterday working on the new golf course in Hays. I really hate it for him and his family but......They hired a company from Nebraska to do the grading. Are you telling me we don't have some heavy equipment operators in Wilkes County that could do as good a job as these from 1/2 across the country. I shop local, hire local and work local to put back into my community. Sure hate to see money sent out of the county when we are going thru hard times JMO
