"After the 0.50% rate cut, Fed President Jerome Powell said: "The US economy is in a good place and our decision today is designed to keep it there."
So a crisis-level 50bps rate-cut with the stock market at record highs and home prices at highs, just two months ahead of the election is warranted because the "economy is in a good place."

Trump should fire Jerome Powell on his first day in office.
