I'm a fan of all music...real music...so I love soooo much from the 50s (Elvis) through the early 2000s, (I can even listen to classical...like Beethoven) but it seems that music stopped being people playing instruments and singing and turned into all this elctronica and autotuned junk. There will always be exceptions, but I feel like the best days of music (especially for us rock n roll lovers) is long gone.

You're so right Magna, Cindy was 80's forgive the mistake of an old dude. No worries I didn't take it as you being snotty. A kid huh, well kiddo, by that time I'd been around the world, wished I was home. Glad you enjoyed the music! Old dudes like me still love music we might goof up now and then, the memory isn't what it used to be, but still love the tunes.

But, at the risk of sounding snotty again...Cindi Lauper was soooo 80s. But I like that song, when I'm in the mood for it. The compilation you posted really hit me, and brought a tear to my eye. I was a kid then, and I absolutely recognized every single one of those songs.
