Now boys can be in the same restroom as girls at the same time or locker room.

How did the thread where people who don't play sports get upset at giving kids tampons turn into a debate thread?

It would be ignorant to think that having tampons in a boys' locker room or restroom would make boys "turn" gay or trans.

I (female) played a sport in school and when we were the visiting team, we always had to "dress out" in the boys' locker room and use the boys restroom. No doubt, a tampon dispenser would have been very useful for female athletes. That was in the dark ages. Thankfully, intelligent folks think differently now.

A related issue would be having athletic cups available in the girls' locker room for visiting male athletes. But there are probably people who are so ignorant that they think the availability of cups would "turn" girls gay or trans.

If this is a hill you want to die on, it's a silly one. Plus, you are probably insecure with your sexuality.

Republicans are so ignorant. A tampon in a boys rastroom to stuff up a bloody nostril after being punched is great. The same tampon at the emergency room is called a rhino rhocket and costs the parents about $300.

You guys don't really have a problem with this, do you?

Lots of girls' athletic teams have to dress in boys' locker rooms and bathrooms on the road. Coaches wouldn't have a problem with this. I guess Gov. Walz knows this as a coach, educator, etc.

Anyway...if this is your biggest problem with the guy, you don't have much.

I guess if boys can fight girls in the Olympics, why should they not share bathrooms right now? These far left Democrats want to be able to kill babies at birth, and cut off their genitals when they are old enough to talk. Sick world.

I will never live long enough to understand how a male can decide to be a female by just stating that they are one and a woman just deciding to be a male and it is to be just accepted. Why can't she just go into the girl's bathroom that one time a month she needs supplies. We live in a stupid world and it is just gong to get worse is the Dems win. I am just curious if any of you mountain men would just accept the fact that your daughter walked into the house and announced she was a boy and was going to start using the men's restrooms.

Well, if this gets in office with Harris, I expect that boys in Wilkes will be able to get their tampons too.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz in May 2023 signed legislation requiring public schools to provide free menstrual products in all restrooms used by students in grades 4-12.

The bill's lead author said it enables transgender students to access menstrual products without having to ask for them.

That is what they call him. He is a loose cannon.

How many people think this is right. The rule now is you can be a female but decide to be a male then female menstrual products must be placed in Minnesota boys bathrooms.

Schools districts and charter schools in Minnesota will be
required to stock period products in school bathrooms for free use, including in boys' bathrooms. At the end of May, Gov. Tim Walz signed into law an education finance bill which includes requirements for schools to provide menstrual products at no charge starting in January 2024.
