Trump is intent on winning by hook or by crook, and the way things are trending it could probably be by crook. He has his loaded SCOTUS if he chooses to go the faux legal route, or the threat of nationwide disruption and/or violence if that should fail. Then there's his faithful MAGATS that hear what they want to hear, a vociferous mob of the worst elements of American society. The MAGATS firmly believe that if they succeed in installing him as dictator, he will give them the malicious Utopia which they crave. Add to that the still lingering apathetic attitude of the opposing party and the fact that he's stealing the election right now while he's accusing them of doing so, and you have the perfect recipe for the destruction of democracy. I only know of one answer to the problem facing truly patriotic Americans if he loses and I don't like it one little bit!

The chair of the conservative House Freedom Caucus says the North Carolina Legislature should consider allocating the state's presidential electors to Donald Trump even before votes are counted in the swing state. Rep. Andy Harris (R-Md.) said Thursday that such a step by North Carolina's Republican-controlled Legislature "makes a lot of sense" given the devastation wrought by Hurricane Helene in the western part of the state. Counties in that region are expected to vote heavily for Trump.
