Conrad’s Ghost

Foxhose looks especially spineless today.

She's scared to death of Billy now.

Oh, well. One reaps what one sows.

FEMA can give money up to a maximum amount to eligible homeowners to repair or replace your home. For Fiscal Year 2024, the maximum amount is $42,500

And what's your source for fema arriving Wednesday night? Buncombe county officials on the radio Saturday morning said they had arrived Friday night after the storm with more arriving throughout the weekend. By Wednesday there were national guard helicopters everywhere.

Also, most of that is not true gmiller. You can get the $750 if your house wasn't damaged and I know plenty of people who have already gotten it. You don't know what you're talking about. Pretty much everyone with any damage to their homes or who had outages of any kind have been given hotel vouchers.

Why have you run away from our discussion fox? You said you were going to expose my lies.

Sal, have you noticed not many people respond to your ignorance?

LOL @ this dumb ladies irony filled post.

Whining about not getting government help while also accusing others of looking for "handouts." Based off another racist post by this hateful witch I cant imagine what she could be so mad about.

Hopefully your husband can help you craft an answer.

gmiller, I always enjoy reading your thoughtful comments but I sure hate to see you breaking the Democrat bubble this close to Christmas (Winter Holiday). (I want them to know what I am talking about). But why expose them to so much disappointment this close to Santa coming? We know they live with their government greased hands out looking for their black Santa (Harris) to come with a non-reciprocal GIFT.

Like most rural counties, when residents can't find what they are looking for, they call 911 tying up emergency phones lines. The sheriff of Ashe is very community oriented doing radio programs and using social media. When residents of Ashe started looking for FEMA, he was trying to get ahead of it. Now as far as FEMA, it was Wednesday night after the storm before FEMA showed up in Asheville. Prior to political speeches and communications and electricity restored, people or victims already had an opinion. Churches and private organizations were saving people. The same people were opening the roads. In order to get the money, you have to lost your house. If you are still living in part of it because you have nowhere else to go, you get nothing. Summer homes, nothing. The ones that got the money have no where to spend the money if they do get it. People are frustrated and angry with the government and doesn't matter what we think.

Thanks for admitting you have done nothing to "educate" anyone.

Stay with that red dit degree, it will never fail you.

Also appreciate you acknowledging that different strokes for different folks. I dont care what you feel is "right" but I do take exception when others try to push their BS on others, especially when those folks try to present something as absolute truth.

We would probably get along in real life, but I just cant get on board with everything being a conspiracy concept.

And I hope none of you are just hoping things will just go back to normal. Lol, Normal is dead and buried. Never to be seen again.

Porksalad, by the looks of things, everyone but me is confused. Like I said, there is no proof. You just believe what feels right to you. I'll do the same. This show is just about over but a few surprises before it ends.

Yes. That's why people use it to spread misinformation. No reliable news source would print these lies but that didn't stop people like Patriot7 from spreading it.

Hope I don't break your bubble but social media sites are not really that reliable

Good thing they quit printing The Grit
