This story has already been debunked. I am very disappointed in the Sheriff of Ashe for making a mountain out of a mole hill and putting Ashe County in a bad light in the National news. Several articles quote him in bits and pieces and some even state the threats were made in Ashe County. There were no truck loads of armed militias. One dude at a gas station in Rutherford County made the remark he was going to mess with FEMA, he was reported, arrested carrying a handgun and an air rifle and charged with going armed to the terror of the public. He paid a 10,000 dollar bond and was released.

I live in Ashe and all I can say is thank God for the wonderful volunteers and the many Churches who helped us so much. We have received donations from states across the country. It amazes me how volunteer organizations can put aid together so quickly and how slow the government works. FEMA has been available to help people apply for aid but the brunt of the help has been from volunteers.

So the sheriff of ashe county is reporting on threats to fema in counties other than ashe? Shouldn't he stay in his own county and only report on things happening in ashe county? A lawyer calls this heresay, and the sheriff knows this. The msm calls it MISINFORMATION(du-du-DUH!!!!!!) when it doesn't fit their narrative.
