If a person serving in the US Military is shot at by an enemy combatant and struck by a single bullet, they are eligible to be awarded the Purple Heart, if they are shot at by an enemy combatant and struck by shrapnel...they are still eligible to be awarded the Purple Herat as well.
Wray is stating "his" opinion on what could have caused Trump's injury but I'm confident that Wray's attempt to downplay what caused Trump's injury was an obvious attempt to throw shade on what happened, was Wray's statement politically motivated, only Wray knows the answer to that.
It's disingenuous for a law enforcement officer to speculate on incidents without backing up that speculation with facts that support "his" conclusion, which I don't think he did; had Wray been on the stand testifying in a criminal proceeding his speculation would not have allowed to stand.

When the incompetent assassin started firing Trump ducked down behind the podium with the left side of his face towards the shooter. When he came back up his right ear was bleeding. Am I the only one that observed this?
