Dems and Repubs are one in the same. They just play a role to keep us divided and weak.
Traditionally, Conservatives believe in small federal government with more power to the states, while Liberals believe in a stronger federal government. There is no "evil" or "good," just "who do you want to make the decision."
Do you think that abortion should be outlawed on a federal level? That's Liberal.
Do you think that there should be a federal law that prevents private businesses from allowing women to play with men? That's Liberal.
As for Republican versus Democrat and the issues you presented...
Republicans say that they oppose abortion, and that's fine, but they can't explain their actual vision. If they ban all abortion then that bans IVF pregnancies, too... as well as when the mother's life is in danger, or in cases of rape.
Sometimes they say that there should be exceptions, but they have no plan for that, either. I've asked this before and there's never an answer... is the plan to create government "death panels" that would review every request for an abortion to determine whether it's allowable? With 3 million abortions a year, how much of a budget is going to be allocated to these thousands of doctors that would read the requests? And would those doctors be government appointed... meaning, in December a woman might be forced to carry to term even though there's a 99% chance that both would die, but then in January another woman is approved for an abortion if there's a 1% chance that she would die?
Either way, the plan is extremely liberal... giving unprecedented power to the federal government.
Republicans say that they oppose transgender people playing in gender specific sports, and that's fine, but the sports they've complained about are all private businesses. Is it their plan to write a federal law that would control the rules in these private businesses? Or is it all just meaningless talk, hoping to create a hot button issue during an election year?
Republicans say that they oppose animal fighting, but Virginia Foxx and Jeffrey Elmore both voted numerous times to protect animal fighters. I can't say whether they actually represent Republicans, though, or if they just got paid...
