Are Eddie Settle and Stoney good friends?
I've heard that Settle groomed Stoney to be his replacement, but it doesn't look like either of them donated to the other's campaigns.

Posted 3:32 pm, 05/01/2024 Don't forget the claims of his not paying bills to Wilkes County folks, not paying for house owned by second wife that he lives in, cheating, married 3 times working on #4, dishonest, claims against him of sending out indecent photos to other judges, lying to judge in SC, and is in contempt, and of course dog fighting, betting and gambling, the killing and torture of innocent animals, and the abuse of wife in front of children claim.
So just a regular guy .....We sure want someone like that representing us, don't we? How could we do without someone with all that intelligence and ethics?

No one is asking that you support Greene and no longer has the support of the GOP in Wilkes.
"Minton added that he received communication from leaders of the Wilkes County Republican Party asking that the following be added to the motion he presented: "We, the Executive Committee of the Wilkes County Republican Party, join with the Wilkes County Board of Commissioners' motion in asking Commissioner Greene to resign as commissioner immediately for the good of the county."

The Democrats of Wilkes have failed once again to run any viable candidates once again.
I petitioned and got on the ballot several years ago and ran as an Independent without renouncing my Democrat affiliation
Folks saw through my ruse and I lost miserably.
The Democrats need to find and promote worthwhile candidates, otherwise all we can do is whine and complain.
