Well, now that the Merlefest tourists have left town, maybe the Wilkes rogues will drop the price below $2.00 a gallon again.

Sppedway in Mocksville was $1.83 Monday moning, jumped to $1.99 Monday afternoon.

Prices in Wilkes seem to be stuck in the $1.99 area. We need them to resume their freefall of a few weeks back

Runin across from Tyson was back down to.$1.99 yesterday . Since Easter driving weekend is over, hopefully prices will free fall back to their previous levels of $1.50-something

Gas war in Bermuda Run! A new Sheetz has opened beside the Lowes Foods (one with a gas station); Lowes price was $1.65, Sheetz was the same, but with the automatic 3 cents by swiping my Sheetz card I was able to over-fill at $1,62

$1.89-$1.99 throughout most of the Triad area. Hopefully prices will fall somewhat after Easter to only increase again for Memorial Day.

Actually, SAM had a question concerning the rise in gas prices this week, the typical response followed; "switching machinery for the summer blend". Come Oct/Nov, they'll use the same excuse again substituting Winter for Summer.
