I guess Big Oil will roll out their annual "we're switching over to our heavier winter blend" as an excuse. You can't tell me the oil companies came by and emptied the tanks at every station and pumped in the "winter blend".

For the past few days, gas has been $2.14 per gallon @ both the Run-In on NC Hwy 18 & the neighboring Shell; price war.

wilkes county deserves to dry up and become a ghost town because of the insufferable greed it has. we lower gas a penny at a time which they do at the very last moment. but hey will raise it dime or more at one time. you can go out of town and it'll be 7 cents a gallon anywhere you go. in fact you can go out of town and buy nearly anything cheaper. we have 2nd rate crap no matter what you want? i really wish i could move away from this dump. at least when tyson leaves, this place will be dead at last.

Wilco in Clemmons went from $1.98 around 10 this morning to $2.19 at 4:30 this afternoon. What they heck is going on???

I had to go to East Bend today. Went through Jonesville to hit HWY 67. Gas at the Hess-Wilco station was $1.99 this am. When I came back through this evening it was $2.19?
