sparta rd side of town including hays @ mnt view is 15 cents a gallon higher on gas than 421 side if you like giving your money away gas up on the 18 side of town ……….. hwy 18 side you people are getting ripped off I actually seen someone yesterday in mnt view getting gas they were bent over at the pump and my thoughts were that's right take it

its not the governments fault its the gas companies being greedy well I will be getting my increase back by cutting donations @ not buying in on any fund raisers its got to come from somewhere

I gas up at my favorite stations and don't even look at the price anymore, not going to drive out of my way to save a few pennies.

Ziggy, I don't think you understand how business works.
When a business sells a product, they don't just need to make a profit on the product sold. They need to make enough of a profit to pay for what they think the wholesale cost will be on their next delivery.
Imagine they pay $100 for a wholesale delivery today. They sell it at a 20% markup, and profit $20, right? But then next week's delivery is $150, so they didn't make enough profit to cover the remaining $30. This means that a 20% markup wasn't enough, they needed to make $50 to cover the next delivery.
Now imagine that times 100... their delivery is $10,000, and they expect next week's delivery to be $15,000. You expect them to sell the $10,000 worth of fuel for $12,000, but then they wouldn't have enough to pay for the next week's delivery.
