You can't compare gas to a time of pandemic, that makes no sense. Historically, though, gas is the same price now that it's always been.

How much was gas a year ago ? Does it make sense now. How stupid is it for some thats in office wanting to buy gas from a country that wants to kill us or start the pipeline back up . We have gas here to sell but thats not putting money n certain peoples pocket.

People are easily confused, but inflation adjusted gas prices haven't really changed since 1978:
It's technically gone down... after adjusting for inflation, gas in 1978 was $2.438. As of 2020 it was $2.242.
