Assuming that some, most or all of the 77.6% who voted for the Amendment are taxpayers, you know how they showed their gratitude...they voted in favor of the Amendment. Accept the results, y'all should be rejoicing knowing that a Non-US citizen will never be allowed to vote in any NC election EVER, the people have spoken.

I said over 75% voted in favor of the Amendment, it was actually 77.6%, that means a lot of Democrats support this as well, I guess they're gullible and subject to manipulation by the Republicans as well. Accept the results, it's here to stay you'll never see an Amendment on the ballot to reverse it, we won get over it.

It fixes a problem that didn't even exist! I call that do nothing government. What are the Republicans going to come up with in 26? I would vote far an amendment like term limits, allowing petition based amendments, protecting seniors home etc, things that would take power from the politicians and really give power to the people. Maybe you have some good ideas?

What are you even talking about? Pointing out that the amendment does literally nothing and that the language you claim the original constitution uses was incorrect(a lie) doesn't mean I don't accept that people voted for it.

I think the point was to stop litigation before it began, US citizen is specific, citizen is not, as an illegal emigrant in NC is a citizen of their home country.
Since over 75% of NC voters approved of the Amendment anyone who voted against it obviously an enemy of free, fair and secure elections in NC and should do everyone a favor and move to your choice of blue state.

Sadly, I think a lot of folks didn't. Anyway, what a useless amendment. Let's have a law about a law that already exists. Talk about big guvmint.
