I do have to say that a law and an amendment are two different things. Laws are created by political bodies and can be changed by them. An amendment is usually voted on by the people and can't be changed except by the supreme court of the state or the US

Seems like I once heard about municipalities in some of the more commie oriented states allowing non citizens to vote in certain races.
I am fuzzy on the details, but I imagine the wise leaders of our great state want to give the good people shelter from shenanigans.
I have given it thought since I posted this and have decided I will support the amendment.
It is now the right thing to do.

The Amendment says that only US Citizens, age 18, who are otherwise eligible to vote can vote in NC elections.
