Four Democrat Leaders Arrested and Charged with Election Fraud in Bridgeport, Connecticut

Four Democrat leaders were arrested and charged this week with election fraud in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The voter fraud was tied to a 2019 mayoral primary race.

Bridgeport City Councilman Alfredo Castillo, Vice Chair of Bridgeport's Democrat Party Wanda Geter-Pataky were charged with election tampering.

Two campaign workers Nilsa Heredia and Josephine Edmonds were charged with election fraud and unlawfully possessing another person's absentee ballot. Wanda Geter-Pataky was also charged with witness tampering, the Connecticut Mirror reported.

I'd like to see the details, but if he did commit fraud then I hope they throw the book at him!

That reminds me of the GOP in Bladen County that hired a fixer to manage a voter fraud scheme to help him win. He was busted, the fixer was arrested... but the DA chose not to prosecute him. And then, naturally, he "won" again this year.

A Democratic party official involved in a voting scandal that caused a judge to order a rerun of last year's mayoral election in Connecticut's largest city was arrested Tuesday and has been charged along with a city council member and two campaign workers with mishandling absentee ballots during a different election in 2019.
