tribune | Posted 6:50 pm, 05/14/2024 | No one, but no one in the USA is supporting Hamas any more than they are supporting Hezbollah, Al Qaeda, ISIS, or any other terrorist group. Except for the Taliban, Trump supports them. So why don't you MAGATS worry about America's real domestic enemies Trump and his Putineers.

Sadly, in America there is little difference between Hamas and the Democrats. This is a fact. This is proven by their actions.

You are supporting Israel murdering Palestinians. Hamas is just fighting back. You are acting like you are supporting Stoney and blaming the dogs.

It's been a disgraceful sight to see college campuses across the nation being overrun by antisemitic, anti-America, and pro-Hamas mobs. It was also disgraceful, but not surprising to witness President Biden's silence and inaction in response.
Thankfully, we saw some leaders stand up to these mobs, including right here in North Carolina. When agitators attempted to take over UNC-Chapel Hill's campus, we saw UNC's interim chancellor and students physically put back the American flag the mob removed. He then quickly called on law enforcement to put an end to their nonsense. Chancellor Lee Roberts showed every other school administrator in America how it should be done, and it was a proud moment for our state.
Congress also has a role in holding these illegal mobs accountable.
That's why this week I introduced the No HAMAS Act, and I'm honored to have a number of my colleagues like Senators Ted Cruz, Joni Ernst, and Josh Hawley behind it.
The No HAMAS Act is quite simple: it would revoke federal student financial assistance for students who are convicted of trespassing, rioting, or damaging property while illegally protesting at a higher education institution. Students convicted would lose their eligibility for any federal grant, loan, or work assistance.
I think we can all agree that hardworking taxpayers shouldn't have to keep paying for the college tuition of these convicted lawbreakers who have been openly embracing terrorists and harassing Jewish students and professors.
Enough is enough. These pro-Hamas lawbreakers are adults and it's time they grow up and start facing real consequences for their actions. -- Senator Thom Tillis
