What the article doesn't tell you is that when they did this survey last year, the response was that they needed $233,000 a year to feel financially secure.
Now I know that math is hard, so let me help... 186 is less than 233.
Thanks, Joe!
I couldn't find where they did these surveys before 2023, but I couldn't find the 2023 survey on Bankrate's site, either...

I saw this movie but it was called the Obama years. The middle class shrunk and the rich got richer. The sequel, Bideneconomics, is worse than the original. 19 percent inflation but it is not his fault. Nobody can afford a car or housing but it is not his fault. Companies are leaving and shutting down but it is not his fault. Americans taken on more debt and more are working two jobs(most in history) but it is not his fault. Building America from the bottom up. Not going to believe the cliffhanger, it wasn't his fault, he wasn't even running the country.

In Joe Biden's America, New Survey Reveals People Feel They Need to Earn Over $186,000 Annually Just to Feel Secure
A new survey from Bankrate reveals the sad truth about how Americans feel drowning in Joe Biden's economy.According to the survey, Americans feel they need to earn at least $186,000 per year to feel secure in an economy hammered by high interest rates, low homeownership, rising rent and home costs, and rising consumer costs like food and gas. Unfortunately, for the vast majority of the population, only 6% of U.S. adults actually reach at least that threshold. Thanks, Joe! https://www.thegatewaypundi...ew-survey/
