The suspect has been identified as Bernardo Raul Castro Mato, a Venezuelan migrant who entered the U.S. through Eagle Pass, Texas, in July 2023



Trump signed to "defer the removal of any national of Venezuela, or alien without nationality who last habitually resided in Venezuela." That order ended on March 9, 2021. Biden extended it to September 9, 2022, then to March 10, 2024, and then again for another 18 months.




Mato had an immigration case last May that was dismissed, because he was automatically given TPS as a Venezuelan refugee.

This means that he was not undocumented... he was a legally recognized refugee.

And DB... if you think that Biden should be tried for treason because of it, wouldn't you agree that Trump should, too? Since Trump did it originally, and Biden only extended it?
