I think its just fine. With the major project underway.
I'd like to point out the first 2. Traffic cameras up now.
Bout time.
Also the time warp dejevu. Old "kamikaze" cross over. Beside CWW (where McDonalds was originally). I'd love to see the blue sheet schematics.
But from my own multiple observations.
It's going to work great. *golf clap for the engineers

I don't agree with MAGA very much but this is a good post. When the construction first started I had to do some adjusting to get in the left lane instead of going Curtis Bridge. I haven't been where MAGA is talking about but I appreciate the heads up. While we may disagree, we can still watch out and help everyone be safe.

Leave it to fakerCONRAD to smear and blame the Wilkesboro PD with yet another bogus post.

Thanks, MAGA.

This really is a Booneboggle.

The Wilkesboro PD shoulda step up AND strictly enforce the speed limits in that stretch. IF they had done their job this whole project woulda not been necessary.

Drivers beware!!!

Let's start a notice board when we see dangerous rerouting of traffic amid the chaos of the super street boondoggle.
I'll go first.
Heading East, the left two lanes turning onto business 421 must merge into one lane and take in vehicles exiting from a yield lane off US421. Placement of concrete barriers does not allow enough roadway for this to happen all at once.
Safest route-get in the left lane at the Winkler Mill Road light and hold that lane until at least Curtis Bridge Road.

Be safe and watch out for the tourists.
