Hamas is a terrorist organization and as such they do terrible things. Many Palestinians turned to them for protection from the Israelis, they made a deal with the Devil. However, their land (what little had been left to them) was being eaten up by Israeli "settlements" and it was obvious it was just a matter of time before they would lose everything. Israel's indiscriminate slaughter of Palestinian women and children is in itself terrorism.
