Which is percisely why the portly red headed punks third baby momma took her six illegitimate younguns and put 'em in at Millers creek Christian cause they ain't no fith grade hanky panky aloud and no fiths of Jack Daniel's also. We ain't for sure about a good ol fashion keg stand in the hallway at recess tho, u younguns will have to ask Stoney his opinion on thatun.

"You hear reports of fifth graders involving themselves in sexual activity. A good dose of salvation and recognition of salvation through baptism is certainly appropriate at that age."

Your salvation ain't never saved any child or any one person from sexual activity...not even you and yours sparky!

Initiating larval believers before they understand what they are doing is on the pastor and parents.

I realize this is fodder for the fools but, Yes I oppose young children being baptized just to entertain the adults. I do no know the appropriate age or if there really is one. No you do not have to be baptized to go to Heaven. However the Bible is very explicit , YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN.

I heard one recently, the preacher asked the scared little girl on stage why she wanted to be baptized.

"Well, mama and daddy want me to and everybody else is doing it"

Truth be told, even the idea of being saved is nonsense for a kid. If they don't understand what they're doing then what's the point?

My point is that any saved person is fit for baptism. Some kids are exposed to truth intensively and early and would likely be saved early in life. There is no good reason to delay baptism.

I think most Christians think that kids get a free pass, but I don't think that's in the Bible.

Is baptism required to go to Heaven? I'm pretty sure you just have to be saved.

What do you think about young kids getting baptized?

It's always bothered me. The kids have no clue what it means or what they're doing, and it's always a bunch of adults pressuring the kids into doing it. So you have these kids on stage, crying and nervous, and the adults pretend like it's because they're so happy or whatever. But it's really the kids just being scared, and the people that are supposed to protect them are the bullies.

I think baptism should be for 18+.
