And the temporary increase ($9 per 1,000 kWh) from 20 months ago will become permanent. The increases are largely driven by energy policies at the state and national levels that are going to far, too fast... according to BREMCO's CEO.
Also sited were the increased costs in recent years of power poles +50%, transformers +85%, bucket trucks +72% and contract labor +$3 mil.

LOL isn't bremco;s CEO the high paid electric company CEO in the state? I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere on a GONC site. God forbid he doesn't get a pay raise while people struggle to pay their bill.

Against cuts, got it.

Do you always cheer against yourself?

Hey Bigun... that's the oldest trick in the book. Raise rates now and promise to cut later.

Blue Ridge told us the $9.00/kwh raise was temporary but guess what... in October it ain't!

I can connect the dots between the Biden/Harris inflation and rising prices for everything. I guess that makes me smarter than you!

You not being able to make a connection between rising temps and electric bills is really funny.

So close!
