From a resident of Zimbabwe...
I stay in Zimbabwe and these goblin issues are predominant in the tabloids. One thing for sure, they help drive newspaper sales!!! People in Zimbabwe have always had a cultural fear of the supernatural and it believed that goblins as mentioned by William Jackson are to blame for the unexplainable and unfortunate events that happen in an individual's life or in a community. From what I have observed, there are people who actually believe in them, most the old and those from the rural areas... but city folk is usually...usually skeptical of these issues. At times like the sex goblin you are talking of, might just be some naughty individual trying to cover up his tracks.
This is just more fake news... no different than a National Enquirer or Gateway Pundit headline claiming that schools in NC are shut down for the summer because of Bigfoot mating season.
