The pandemic caused GLOBAL inflation and nations worldwide suffered from its effects. The USA was not affected as badly as other nations and under Sleepy Joe made a slow recovery, The Republicans knew this to be true but continually blamed Biden for purely political reasons. They work on the premise that it's easy to sell their tainted bill of goods to someone that has just paid 20% more for their groceries than they did pre-pandemic.
