Hiking, I believe all children deserve to be healthy and happy. However, we as a country cannot afford to take care of them all. How are young people brought here prior to 2007 more deserving than children brought to the US in 2008 or yesterday for that matter? There are millions of illegal immigrant children here now, we should not be held responsible for their welfare. I also think more needs to be done to break the cycle of citizens who are receiving benefits because they are too lazy to work by the way.

Illegals and their kids deserve absolutely nothing from American tax payers except a bus ticket home, or in the case of the illegal Africans, a long boat ride back.

What about all the US citizens that get these benefits just because they are too lazy to work and won't break the cycle? Most of those that are being offered the benefits are going to college to break their families' cycle! Just like any child adopted outside the US, they will have to become citizens to stay. However, I stand behind my statement that they were brought here. They didn't come on their own.

I'm not a democrat. However, those children/young adults did not come here by themselves. They were children when coming into the US legally or illegally. They are only protected from deportation for so long. They should not be held accountable for what their family did. They deserve help!

The Biden-Harris Administration is committed to providing Dreamers the opportunities and support they need succeed. Today President Biden is announcing a plan to expand health coverage for DACA recipients. The Department of Health and Human Services will shortly propose a rule amending the definition of "lawful presence," for purposes of Medicaid and Affordable Care Act coverage, to include DACA recipients.
