Christians believe the Jesus is the Lord of everyday.

Jesus didn't command anyone to rest on the Sabbath.

Christians follow Jesus's commandments. You have yet to provide an example of one that they don't follow despite a lot of trys. Keep trying Forky.

There's only One Biblical Sabbath Day it is the Lord Day..

13 "No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money

8. For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.

Rest well Forky!

As you know you still ain't come up with an example of a Commandment from Jesus that Christians don't keep. Nary a Commandment in any of the verses you have copied and pasted.

Maybe when you rest up your mind will work a little better.

Good luck!

I hoping all a wonderful day of Rest. Have a great Sabbath Day.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

13 "No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money."

14 The Pharisees, who dearly loved their money, heard all this and scoffed at him. 15 Then he said to them, "You like to appear righteous in public, but God knows your hearts. What this world honors is detestable in the sight of God.

16 "Until John the Baptist, the law of Moses and the messages of the prophets were your guides. But now the Good News of the Kingdom of God is preached, and everyone is eager to get in.[d] 17 But that doesn't mean that the law has lost its force. It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the smallest point of God's law to be overturned

Forky, forky, you slitherer and fork tongued serpent. Strike one!

Your "example" is not a commandment from Jesus. It is impossible to read it as a command when taken in context with the related passages (Matthew Chapter 4 and Luke Chapter 4.) Jesus was quoting from Deuteronomy to rebuke Satan who was questioning His divinity. The Gospel of Mark mentions the temptation of Christ in Chapter 1 but doesn't give us any details. The Gospel of John fails to mention this event at all.

If we are to follow your line of reasoning to it's logical conclusion the only commandment given by Christ during His temptation was to tell Satan to get away.(Matthew 4:10)

Christianity claims to require its followers to live by every commandment that came from Christ.

Do you have an example of one of Christ's actual commandments that Christianity fails to adhere to or are you going to misrepresent (again and again) what Christ actually said?

Forky, is it immaturity, dotage, or impotence that led you to repost your original post as a reply for a request for an "example?"

It would be far more intellectually honest to say "I can't come up with an example" than to continue to slither and hiss and act like a slithery serpent.

Have you got an example Forky? Come on; Book, Chapter and Verse. You've made the claims, back them up with what Jesus said.

23Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

25"All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

John 19:30
King James Version
30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

What's wrong Forky? You can't find a single example?

You've been on this site dozens of time making accusations that Christians don't follow Christ's commandments but when asked you ain't able to cite a single one of His commandments that Christianity violates?

I'm disappointed in you Forkster.

Wanna see a picture of my Spaghetti Model Roman Coliseum? I'll be the first to admit it looks more like dinner than the Coliseum, but we all got to try new things once in a while, right?

You keep slithering and hissing and telling half the tale when you stop with Jesus said that the ruch feller knew the commandments. As you know the rest of the story is that knowing and keeping the commandments weren't what it took.

Oh, it's you that's the liar, not Jesus.

Just one commandment Forkster. As you have so often demanded of others, Book, Chapter, Verse.

You don't mind calling Jesus a liar so you can rest on the first day . There is only one Sabbath Day that was separated and made Holy . It's the Lords Days and Jesus can't be Lord to too Sabbath.

There was the rich man that asked about what he had to do to receive eternal life. Jesus said you know the Commandments. But you don't hear him If you don't care what Jesus taught ok but Jesus all through his teaching are about the Laws of God.

What does Jesus say Matthew 4: But Jesus told him, "No! The Scriptures say,

'People do not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'

:::::

49 I don't speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it. 50 And I know his commands lead to eternal life; so I say whatever the Father tells me to say."

Forky, I am going to type this slowly as it is obvious that your reading comprehension level is sub-par. When you are asked for an "example" in a text based uniiverse, you are expected to provide a literary illustration of your point. Perhaps "example," having three syllables is beyond you. Let me demonstrate:

When I call you a liar I give the literary illustration of things you have typed like: "The Bible says Jesus was resurrected on the Sabbath" or "Jesus said "Keep the Ten Commandments," or "Jesus said to keep the Sabbath."

When I say that you remind me of the serpent from the story of Eden it is because you mislead people, you lie and you try to turn people away from the truth while proclaiming that you are telling the truth. No matter how loudly you yell, we both know you are a fork tongued liar. That is why my pet nickname for you is "Forky the Serpent" (most often abbreviated (shortened) to "Forky.)

When providing an "example" of a commandment that Jesus gave that you feel that Christians fail to follow copying and pasting a selection of verses that provide no "commandments" is less than helpful. In fact, it merely shows the weakness of your argument.

In your copied and pasted text, Jesus never said that traditions were bad. I doubt Jesus was telling us that we should refrain from washing our hands before we eat. Or, maybe in your view that is exactly what Jesus was telling us.

Do you have an "example" or a "literary illustration" that comes from the Bible where Jesus gave a "Commandment" (an action we are to take or to refrain from taking) that Christianity violates?

Y'all would rather listen to your religion instead of staying true to Jesus. Y'all take to heart in the lies half-truths fables traditions and false interpretation that religion GIVES for TRUTH.

Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, "Why don't your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with defiled hands?"

6 He replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:

"'These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
7 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.'[b]

8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions."

9 And he continued, "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe[c] your own traditions

That must be terrifying for you, Forky!

How many times have you added words to the Book? Gosh, I can think of a few right off the top of my head.

For an example, when you typed "Jesus said to keep the ten commandments." For another example, when you typed "Jesus said to keep the Sabbath." I'm sure there are a lot of other for examples, but I'm too busy making Scale Models of Ancient Roman Buildings out of boxes of Muller's Spaghetti right now to look 'em up.

Have you come up with one of them "for examples" for what Jesus said "Do" or "Not Dos" that Christianity violates yet? Remember, Book, Chapter, Verse with Jesus's Words.

Good luck Forkster!
