That is your opinion, unsupported by any verse or other evidence that you have presented.

Why can't you find any of Jesus's words that support your opinion, Forky?

Forky, as you know, Christians believe every bit of what you copied.

ROTFLMAO. IF THEY WERE FOLLOWING JESUS THEY WOULD NOT BE FOLLOWING CHRISTIANITY. . YOU CAN'T FIND WHERE JESUS GAVE AUTHORITY TO MAN TO CREATE ANOTHER RELIGION. HYPOCRITES SAY THEY LOVE JESUS BUT FOLLOWS TRADITIONS OF RELIGION. DID JESUS SAY TO CHANGE THE SABBATH DAY TO THE FIRST DAY? YES OR NO IF YOU ARE TRUTHFUL TO YOURSELF YOU WOULD STOP BEING A FOOL FOLLOWING TRADITIONS OF MAN. YOU CANT FOLLOW THE TEACHING OF JESUS ALONGSIDE OF RELIGION.

Why don't your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with defiled hands?"

6 He replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:

"'These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
7 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.'[b]

8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions."

Forky, as you know, Christians believe every bit of what you copied and pasted from the Bible. And, as you so eloquently said, the Covenant was made with the Israelites. However, most Christians aren't Israelites. Jesus, Himself, said that He had been sent to Earth to only save the lost of Israel (Matthew 15:24.)

It was not until after Jesus's death and resurrection that He gave His disciples the commission to share His commandments with the whole world. If you'll notice, Jesus's commission (found in Matthew 28) includes a commanent to teach everything Jesus said and commanded. Jesus's disciples were not told to teach anything more. There was no mention of "repeat the Covenant" or "turn everyone into Israelites."

As your words have so ably shown through this particular thread, Christians follow Jesus's commandments to the letter (or at least they try to.) Since they are not Israelites they are not held to the Covenant God made with Israel as found in Exodus. Only by lying and slithering and "adding words to the Book" can a Forkster argue that Christians are under the Ten Commandments as found in Exodus and later listed (but changed a bit) in Deuteronomy.

The Promise that the Father gave to Jesus for us is to have FAITH in Jesus and do as he taught not what Christianity teaches

By the way the Covenant God made was for the Israelites to OBEY HIS VOICE. Do you know what was spoken from the mountain? That's is the Covenant that was made but the Jews ran to MOSES and told him that they would obey him just not let God talk to them again because they thought they would die. Read the Bible find TRUTH..

When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance 19 and said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die."

20 Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning."

21 The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.

So are we supposed to still be offering up burnt sacrifices to God? I'm just asking since we are supposed to be practicing Jewish law still. Well according to you
&&&:&&

What are you talking about Jewish law? There's God Covenant to the Israelites and Moses Laws. Moses Laws was until the Spokesman for the Father is born. . You might want to read the Bible sometimes and get away from Christian indoctrination of lies half-truths fables traditions and false interpretation.

Have you REJECTED God for traditions of religion? You got to make a conscious decision who to follow. After all it's your Life?

Do you remember what I told you? 'A slave is not greater than the master.' Since they persecuted me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to me, they would listen to you. 21 They will do all this to you because of me, FOR THEY HAVE REJECTED THE ONE WHO SENT ME. 22 They would not be guilty if I had not come and spoken to them. But now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Anyone who hates me also hates my Father

The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life. 64 But some of you do not believe me." (For Jesus knew from the beginning which ones didn't believe, and he knew who would betray him.) 65 Then he said, "That is why I said that people can't come to me unless the Father gives them to me."

66 At this point many of his disciples turned away and deserted him. 67 Then Jesus turned to the Twelve and asked, "Are you also going to leave?"

68 Simon Peter replied, "Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life. 69 We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.[j]"

Forky the Clown, we've already discussed that commandment that Jesus gave His followees.
Remember, we discovered that Christians with 2 billion followers in every country on Earth and some in space was more than the few Forksters who gather at your table.

Reposting the same verses overand over hoping that their meanings will change is rather sad. One definition of "insanity" is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome. Which, I suppose applies to both of us. You keep posting things that have nothing to do with your statement that Christians fail to follow Christ's commandments and I keep asking for an example of such a Commandment.

It's your turn, Forky. Reckon you can find just one example or will you continue to show your impotence?

Accept the Father as Jesus did.

Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, Moses didn't give you bread from heaven. My Father did. And now he offers you the true bread from heaven. 33 The true bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."

34 "Sir," they said, "give us that bread every day."

35 Jesus replied, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. 36 But you haven't believed in me even though you have seen me. 37 However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them. 38 For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to do my own will. 39 And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day. 40 For it is my Father's will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day."

Matthew 28:19-20
New King James Version
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen

Yay for Forky the Clown! After only three days of trying you finally came up with an actual commandment that Christ gave His followers.

Let's see, since Christianity is represented in every country on earth and has some 2 billion followers (2011 estimate, Pew Research Center) I'd be willing to say that Christians are following Christ's commandments to go out and preach the Gospel to the world. On the nother hand, near as I can tell from what little I've heard about it (all from you) it has less than ten followers what all fit around your kitchen table?

Are you sure that's the commandment from Christ that you want to call out Christians for not following?

Christians teach that Jesus is the Son of God and they actually believe Jesus when He said that He was saying exactly what His Pappy said. Unless Jesus was mistaken (and Christians reject that notion right off) then Pappy didn't tell Jesus to say "Keep the Sabbath" or "Foller the Ten Commandments" neither of those is recorded in the Bible as having been said by Jesus.

But, again, high props for figuring out what one of Jesus's real commandments was. Too bad (for you) that Christians from Jesus's time until today have been following it and spreading the Word everywhere. Shucks, there have been a few Christians (along with a few other Religions) who have practiced their faith in Space as far back as the Apollo missions.

The challenge, Forky, was to find a Commandment Christians fail to keep, not point out one that they Excell at keeping.

Try again, Forky the Clown.

Jesus I ask you to open the eyes of the blind that they may see Truth that you have taught. Amen

10 Jesus replied, "If you only knew the GIFT GOD HAS FOR YOU and who you are speaking to, you would ask me, and I would give you living water."

You CAN'T accept Jesus without accepting God the FATHER! Jesus spoke for the Father. Without the Father telling him what to say he didn't speak. So if you love Jesus you got to love the Father.

49. For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. 50I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say

Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

25"All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

John 19:30
King James Version
30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

There is No Salvation in Christianity.

Forky, it is okay that you can't manage to find a single one of Jesus's commandments that Christians fail to keep. Like most of the things you have posted on this site, your repeated claims that Christians fail to follow Christ ring hollow and false.

If you, the one who makes the claims, can not produce a single iota of proof you show your Serpent like true self.

But, what the ****? You keep posting things that fail to back your hypothesis, keep making up fake quotes from Jesus (is that the dreaded "adding to the Book" you mentioned the other day?) and Ms littering and hissing. I know it reveals my low down sinner character, but I enjoy watching a clown put on his clown show.
