I saw on a news feed that chendo will be 108 on his next birthday. Oldest living Mexican/American.. I figured it had to be him because it said they resided in Winston Salem. He needs to be honored for that.

Full Moon and a beaver staring at you. That's what I'm talking about 
Anti, I bought a cheap telescope from Amazon. You can see a lot of interesting things on a clear night. I live up on 421 Mtn. before the county line. No light pollution around me.
I hear a Mtn Lion every so often. Game Warden told me there is none around,though. He is full of it.

Local News Station said this morning that this would be the last full moon of 2024. Funny, I thought there was one every month. There is one month left in 2024? Right? Must of been a mistake.

When did 'Beaver" become associated with a woman's parts?
Leave It to Beaver, Barbara Billingsley's classic line "Ward you were hard on the Beaver last night" is television history. I've read interviews where the show's creator claims he had no idea that beaver was a naughty word. Was this a inside joke or not? That the show slipped by the censors? But Hugh Beaumont held a Master of Theology degree. Hard to imagine a guy his age felt comfortable calling his son The Beaver. Especially in 1957. When did beaver become a raunchy word? Even Beaver college gave up the fight and changed their name.I know *Beaver *magazine was sold in the 70's. It was explicit but not hardcore (no guys featured with the women). Not sure when this magazine began publishing. maybe the 1960's? Thats a good indication that the word was already a sex reference just a few years after the show ended. http://oldmags.com/issue/Be...April-1976Sorry... I couldn't resist!
