my car battery suddenly died, my car had never gave a hint that it was bad, was starting good, most of the time the motor will at least turn over slower when a battery is going, but this one just stranded me in the middle of nowhere, with nobody to jump it off. Had to walk miles to get help.

Never heard this. My battery is fairly new. It was ok as of last night.

It's possible that two large solar storms will hit again today, just a few hours apart...

Two different friends had batteries to die , same day

during this storm and the lowered barometric pressure, my cell phones haven't held a full charge for any real length of time, 3-4 hours maybe.
