Looking at the two major candidate's campaigns I see two contrasting strategies: When the Dem's get caught out on an issue they tend to justify or mitigate their errors. The Repub's just plain arse attempt to lie their way out.

Both parties are working hard trying to skew the polls in their favor and using their campaign rhetoric to influence voters, don't they know that the vast majority of voters have already made up their minds? Polls don't win elections; votes do.
Simply put: "It aint over 'til the fat lady sings."
