Since mid-June through the end of August, there have been 16 events sponsored by Ashe GOP and Ashe Republican Women's Club. That is nearly 2 a week. These events have ranged from the monthly meetings for each group to candidate forums to public debate viewings and participation in community events....

*Pistons for a Purpose Car Show
Saturday, September 7, Pistons for a Purpose is sponsoring a car show on Main Street in Jefferson.
The event takes place from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
The show is a benefit for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
The Ashe GOP will have our cabanas set up to spread the conservative message to participants and visitors....

*Movies at The Barn - FREE Double Feature Classics HomeAlone and Cars
On Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, the Piney Creek GOP Precinct will host a movie at The Barn at Lansing Creeper Trail Park.

*Presidential Debate - #1 Do Over
On Tuesday, September 10th, 2024, at 9 pm the first Presidential Candidate Debate between Trump and Harris will take place. Once again, the Ashe GOP has reserved a courtroom at the Ashe Courthouse to view the debate. The Public is Welcome and encouraged to come!....

*Women Leadership Dinner hosted by the Ashe County NC Republican Women's Club
Friday, Sept. 13th - 5:30p at West Jefferson United Methodist Church, 107 West 2nd Street, West Jefferson.
TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW at http://www.ACNCRW.org - get your ticket before time runs out - only one week left as we must have a headcount for the caterer by Monday the 9th.
This will be a fantastic evening with a full dinner, a dynamic group of speakers, the drawing for the gun raffle, a silent auction, and an opportunity to meet and talk with some of the strong women in leadership today in our state!....

Details on the gun and tickets are available at the ACNCRW/GOP office at 519-B East Main Street in Jefferson. The winner's name will be drawn at the ACNCRW Women Leaders Dinner on Sept. 13th.

*Annual GOP Barbeque and Monthly meeting
Tuesday, September 17th, 2024, 5:30 pm, at the Red Barn in Lansing Creeper Trail Park, 114 S Big Horse Creek Rd, Lansing.
This has been a fun yearly event, and we are looking forward to it again this year! Smoked Pork, hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks will be provided. Attendees are requested to bring a side dish to share. All Ashe Republicans are invited....

*Ashe County NC Republican Women's Club
Meets monthly on the last Thursday of each month at 11:00 am at Glendale Springs Inn and Restaurant, 7414 NC Highway 16, Glendale Springs for a catered luncheon meeting. Republican guests are welcome.
The next meeting is Thursday, September 26th.
If you would like to eat, RSVP is required as the chef needs a head count. The catered luncheon is $20/plate paid at the door and includes salad, entrée, water or tea, tax, and tip. Other beverages may be purchased separately.
Please bring cash and exact change, thank you. If you choose not to eat there is no charge.
