The retail store does not make a great profit from it. So why is the price to the consumer as high as it is? The middleman! And this applies to most retail goods.

Consul, I will type slow. In order for the government to work, you have to have people working to pay taxes. You might have forgot put Democrat governors thought they were kings and wouldn't let people work, go to school, or the gym. Now congress kept handing out free money, free rent, and free food.
