Had sourwood honey once in my life, delicious. Sourwood would be expensive if pure. Sourwood never turns to sugar.

There is a Staley in Millers Creek area selling sourwood for, I think, $25 a quart. I tasted it and it was good sourwood. Not pure, of course, since you can't train bees to distinguish. But it has been a great year for sourwood, the trees are more prolific this year than I have seen in a decade.

I am wondering about the sourwood honey crop this year. Is it a good year, when will it be coming off? How much do you think it will go for this year ?
