This is completely irrelevant. You could have 10 white people and 100 black people... 2 of the 10 white people open fire, and your argument would be that the black people did it since they have the higher demographic.
On a larger scale, you also ignore the real issue of poverty and its impact on crime. It has nothing to do with race, and everything to do with the Republican policy of minimizing the middle class.

The top 5 states for firearm homicide are...
Louisiana
Mississippi
Alabama
Missouri Maryland
This is almost the same as the earlier list that included firearm suicides, the only real difference is that New Mexico (D) is off of the top 5 and is replaced by Maryland (D). We still see 4 states that are heavily Republican, though, while #5 on the list is the only Democratic state.
