Pick out the history you like from the books available. The parts you don't like make it false. In other words you can't prove anything. You are stuck in a tiny box and can't escape. No thanks I'll expand my mind with all the information I can find. You just google to prove in your tiny mind everything is wrong but your beliefs. GOT IT!!

Why does the 1958 encyclopedia Britannica clearly state that Antarctica has a dome at 13,000 feet?

The 1958 edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica does not explicitly state that Antarctica has a dome at 13,000 feet. The search results from Britannica do not provide any information regarding a dome at that specific elevation. However, it is important to note that the Encyclopedia Britannica is a comprehensive reference work that covers a wide range of topics, including geography, history, science, and more. The information provided in the encyclopedia is based on the knowledge and understanding available at the time of publication.

It is possible that the mention of a dome at 13,000 feet in relation to Antarctica may be found in other sources or publications from that era. It is important to consider that scientific knowledge and understanding can evolve over time, and new discoveries and research can lead to updated information.
