10 year old goes for a walk so his mom is arrested!

As Joseph T said, We were out and gone from daylight until dark! My Maw lived alone on top of the mountain and at the age of twelve I would get up in the middle of the night and walk about twenty- five miles to her cabin. I would arrive there sometime the next day. This was around 1950 and in a completely different world. It must be very difficult to grow up in today's world!

It's a different world than the one we grew up in.
Kids are being introduced to sexual abuse, drugs, trafficking and Lord only knows what else.
No parent can afford to let a child loose in any environment not under their control.

At the age of 10 I would disappear into the woods right after breakfast and would not be back until dark

You must have been a babysitter before the Biden administration imported thousands of Venezuelan gangs, and brought millions of poverty stricken people with no jobs, no housing, no transportation and no food and cast them upon America. Of course they promised them things we simply cannot afford

You were a babysitter long before the liberals cried for reduced funding for police

I can't explain this lunacy.

A 10 year old kid in Georgia goes for a walk less than a mile away from his home. Cops see him walking, pick him up, and take him home.

Then they arrest the mom on "suspicion of reckless conduct," which could give her a year in jail!!

Sheesh.

I was babysitting when I was 10, and I would walk the younger kids to the store that was a mile away!
