wilkesman2 has named several of the BEST free programs to clean up a computer.

I would only like to add the following suggestion to his, try an online scan for free from bitdefender.com. Takes a couple of hours to let run on your computer, but will work wonders. Oh, and did I mention it is free!

Just google "bitdefender online scan" and go right to it. There is a step by step instructional video on how to use it on my website under the "Help Yourself" section.

Also, you may want to consider using Glary Utilities, another free utility AFTER you have used Spybot, Ad-aware, Malwarebytes, and bitdefender.com. Also easily googleable.

Spybot, Ad-aware, and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from www.download.com No program will get them all and some programs are better then others at getting rid of different problems. Try running a different browser like Firefox or IE8 and see if it still happens. Make sure pops are blocked. Check your Browser settings to see if a program has changed them for you. Try turning your Security setting to a higher level. Make sure your firewall is turned on. If you do not have an anti-virus AVG anti-virus is also free.

Lately when I'm Yahoo email I occasionally get a login pop-up displayed asking for ID and Password. It's for the following:

gvexchange.americanagrp.com

I've run Adware scan and it still shows up occasionally. It only happens in Yahoo.

Anyone have any thoughts??
