i have 2 ps3's ive had the from day 1
to 60 gig. and i havent had a single problem. stop being cheap and get a ps3.

if it is still under warranty then it would be best to send it to them to be fixed.

walmart.! they will take the old one and take you to the ps3 section. x box sucks

I got the red rings last week. :( Ended up having to replace the gel on my processor, and then I installed a new DVD drive on it. After modding it, it boots up quicker and loads the copied games quicker than it ever had before.
I'm almost afraid it's too good to be true. :(

There are some things you can do to fix it yourself depending on the error that it gives you...if you tell me the full problem i should be able to tell you if its something that can be done at home or not

Try putting the code into youtube and see what comes up. You might be able to fix it yourself.

any one know where to have a x box 360 repaired instead of having to send it off to the manufacturer. It is giving a code. If anyone can help me I will have the code when u write back I have to ask my son again.
