Does it eliminate the cell phone looking thingy that I currently have to plug into my USB port? The problem I have is that I only have two USB ports and the device I am using blocks usage of the other port.

This is the same thing as cellular internet. You only need it if you want to go online with your laptop while away from a regular wireless connection.

Can someone explain this to me like I am in Kindergarten? Do I want this? I have a mobile broadband connect card and have service everywhere currently but do not understand what WWAN is.
