Just turn off DHCP on the upstairs router, and plug it in!

A Blu-Ray player and a broadband connection are a marriage made in heaven! I love the music on Pandora, and the movies and TV shows...some in HD...from Netflix.
Life is good!

A I HAVE A WIRELESS ROUTER DOWNSTAIRS WITH A CABLE RUNNING UPSTAIRS. MY QUESTION IS CAN I HOOK UP A WIRED ROUTER UPSTAIRS TO RUN TO A BLUERAY PLAYER AND XBOX WITHOUT RUNNING A NOTHER WIRE UPSTAIRS.it is very hard to run another wire upstairs. the bleray player or xbox does not have a wireless adapter on them.
