XP doesn't require much hardware to run!

I have one computer that was running XP with a Celeron P2 series 300Mhz 128 ram and a 4GB Hard drive till I chang the CPU and added more ram. Runs fine for office stuff and Internet use.

Lots of systems were upgraded from ME to XP back in 2001, when XP was new. It doesn't take much "horsepower" to run XP. My Asus netbook with a Celeron processor underclocked to 650mhz, and 512mb of RAM is quite comparable to the power of the average desktop around the turn of the millennium. XP runs fine on it.

There's no guarantee, but I would guess that you'll be fine. If your XP disc is a couple of years old, expect your system to download and install updates for a long, long time once your install is complete! I hope you have a fast broadband connection, because you're in for hundreds of megabytes of downloads (if your disc is, say, four or five years old).

Depends on the computer, Processor speed and the amount of Memory also not to mention available Hard Drive space. Since the computer came with Win ME I'm guessing its fairly old..
