If you haven't deleted the recovery partition, you should be able to restore the computer to factory settings. When you turn on the computer, Use F11 to access the recovery partition. If you have lost your recovery partition, you can order recovery disk from HP, they are free if your computer is still under warranty. If not, they are about 16 dollars.

Do you have a product key>? If so, what version of windows 7 (home premium, professional), also is your computer proprietary (dell, hp, etc)?

Where can I get a copy of windows 7? I can not afford to pay for one so, I was hoping someone could let me boorow a copy.
